The Adams County Democratic Committee is dedicated to the proposition that Adams County is a beautiful, productive and historic area, and, therefore, we, its members, are dedicated to sponsoring and supporting candidates who will work to preserve and improve the quality of life that our county offers.

As a Party, we strive to:

• Promote sustainable and appropriate growth that respects the environment, conserves the water supply and pays its way in terms of infrastructure, law enforcement and provision of basic services;
• Support local agriculture as the best means to preserve our economic strength and our rural way of life;
• Promote economic development that compliments rather than degrades our communities, making the best use of our resources, including the land, water and existing infrastructure, while respecting those things that make Adams County unique and worthwhile;
• Support regional initiatives, encouraging our many municipalities to work together to solve common problems for the sake of efficiency and community spirit;
• Support our public school system so that it will prepare our children to be productive, responsible citizens;
• Promote all of our cultural and historic attributes and our locally grown and manufactured products as a means of attracting visitors and customers for local businesses;
• Respect and celebrate diversity in our community, seeking to include and empower all Adams Countians.
