The Adams County Young Democrats wish to thank everyone who came out for Thursday night's Watch Party. The event was a huge success with over 120 people in attendance and over $170 raised for the new group! The donations will help us get off the ground and ensure that we can host more events in the future. We can't applaud you enough for your generosity.

We were ecstatic to see Democrats of all ages turn out in support of our future President, as well as our next representative of the 193rd state house district, Mr. Neil Clifford! We couldn't have done it without several of the Adams County Democratic Committee members, including Dona Maguire who made fantastic Convention signs, as well as Warren and Evelyn Steen who couldn't have shown more enthusiasm and pride for our candidates.

We'd also like to express our appreciation to the Hilton Garden Inn for offering us a beautiful location to host our event. The staff members literally worked around the clock to make sure the food and location were to perfection. They were also incredibly generous in making sure that the event would be affordable for our new organization.

Recognition and thanks also need to go out to John Palinski, the Obama campaign field organizer for Adams County. We needed a kick-off event and he gave us the perfect opportunity to host one. With his efforts and the energy we all have collectively generated, we will paint Adams county blue come November!
