Adams Democrats are always working

“All politics is local” in 2018!

The Adams County Democratic Committee is proud to share that in 2018 we have have great candidates who will truly represent you and your interests. They are for Governor, Tom Wolf; Lieutenant Governor, John Fetterman; U.S. Senate, Bob Casey Jr.; U.S. Congress, Brent Ottaway and two Candidates for Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Marty Qually for the 91st District and Matt Nelson in the 193rd.

Our theme for 2018 is "The Blue Wave" You can be part of that. We and our candidates have many volunteer opportunities available. But by far the most important thing you can do is to get out and vote on Tuesday, November 6th. Make sure all of your Democratic friends and neighbors do too. Your doing this will make the Blue Wave wash across Harrisburg and Washington D.C.

If you are interested in running for office or helping others to run, please contact us.
We’re all in this together in 2018!

And remember, the General Election is November 6, 2018.

We’ll be providing support and encouragement for these and other candidates as the General Election nears. Here is how you can help:

-Visit our Headquarters at 52 Chambersburg Street for candidate information and Democratic merchandise.

-Volunteer for a specific candidate or at our Headquarters, or offer to help with one of our projects, such as collections for local food pantries or collections for veterans.

-Donate to help us keep our Headquarters open and to support our efforts on behalf of candidates and Democrats.  You can do this by joining the 21st Century Leadership Circle, whose members pledge to give at least $210 per year, or you can become a Friend of ACDC with a minimum donation of $10 to be on our mailing list for newsletters, events, and volunteer opportunities.  Donations of any amount are gratefully accepted and put to good use.

-Join one of our affiliated groups:  the Democratic Club is a social group that hosts two events each year; the Adams County Federation of Democratic Women supports candidates with Meet & Greet events and does service projects; and the Gettysburg College Democrats are very active on campus and with Committee projects and activities.

-Information on these groups, as well as our projects and activities, is on this web site, so check often for updates.

-We need your help to continue our successes – please consider how you can become involved, and you may contact me with any questions.
